@little hollow I did record the guitar and some whistles and litterally went through manually sidechaining each instrument with the automation tool (most painful process ever) so it wouldn't interupt the kick
take trap for instance yes they have almost the same drum structure but most of them have way different feelings which leads to them sounding different and unique if its scary, chill, or emotional and even classical they even have old school and new school trap but in lofi everything sounds the same everything is chill and alike even though this is a sub genre of trap/hiphop which is specified for this feel lol
xD that's not wat I meant lol. I mean like, you can't really add much more to what lofi should be. You know? Like lofi consists of some kind of vinyl crackling, a soft electric piano thing, a filtered kick, and a meek and soft snare.
