1) get exposure thru SoundCloud because that’s not a dying website. 2)post on iTunes by importing into GarageBand and publishing thru there.

Try some music distribution websites. They’re a little expensive but might work

also I think I started thinking too far into this money aspect. Going into USAF should help me get prepared for life on my own as well as help me get the best mindset

Thanks alot for that. My biggest concern was taxes but if that requires me to make quite a bit of money than I should be good. Also does anyone bother with profile pages anymore? There you would know that I'm Seventeen 17 and a bunch of other interesting stuff too and I take no offense. Thank you everyone for the advice and I'll work on growing my fan base. If I could even make a dollar off my music though it would mean more than the world to me because then I'd be able to show and prove to my family that I'm not wasting my time or talent making music. It's kinda personal so you guys know.

I would do what Ryan says and build your following/skill level before trying to make money like that. How old are you anyways? I thought I heard you are 13 or 14 somewhere... I'm trying to say that you, being so young and growing the way you are right now is actually a lot more than most people. So just keep up with the hard work and gaining a fanbase before moving onto money making, I would say.

...What specifically are you confused about? Setting up a Patreon account is actually pretty easy, but it isn't a place to sell your music, it's only a way to get paid monthly/per song by anyone who decides to support you. Also, you can't use paypal unless you're over 18, but if your parents want to transfer any money from Bandcamp sales or Patreon profits or any other service to your bank account, then paypal is a great option! Just don't be surprised if they don't want to (That's what happened to me lol)

Try using Wix Website editor. That worked for me!
