Well, I can tell you one thing: FL Studio has a huge learning curve, but it's soooooo worth it once you figure out even 2% of it like me xD
Unlike Soundation, the default synth settings are great to start with, and with minor tweaks, it can sound even better! I suggest FL Studio in the end, because even if you aren't planning on doing music for a living, even just for fun, it's a great challenge that will make your music sound much richer :)
On another note, Soundation's recent changes are really screwed up, and for that reason, I suggest not getting a paid account
FL Studio is really expensive, but at least it's a one-time payment. Plus, it's a high-tech, powerful music studio that (at least from what I've heard) totally outclasses Soundation. On the other hand, I'm used to Soundation's studio, and I really don't want to leave it unless I have to. I don't wanna leave this site, and all my fellow producers that this site allowed me to meet, but in the wake of the recent changes I might not have a choice... Ugh, I'm not making things any easier on myself. :/

I think you could still be active on soundation but make music on fl studio. Also i think that people also post their fl studio songs on here right?
