Coursera-Intro to Dig Snd Design-Feb.2013
This group is for anyone registered in the Coursera course “Introduction to Digital Sound Design” from Jan-Feb, 2013. Participants will post one-minute compositions for listening and voting. Parameters and rules for the composition will be posted on the Coursera.org site on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013.

More about this Group (Part two) - We are in the last week of a 4 week online course that started on 28 Jan 2013. We are creating tracks within some rules and voting on them. Creating these tracks is optional for the course. The voting does not count towards the grade for the course. I have no idea what will happen to this group after the course ends. I would like to see it continue. It would probably need a new name and description. I am not any sort of admin person for this course, or this group, by the way.

Hi XJM, I see that this group could be puzzling to other Soundation users, especially as it has now become the second largest group on Soundation (if I understand it correctly). I see that you are the Admin of the largest group: Music for Fun. I also see that you are a prolific creator of tracks. Back to this group... this group was created for members of a free course on Coursera.org “Introduction to Digital Sound Design”.

Had to make slight changes to my track, so I deleted the original one and posted a slightly changed version "Funkadero". The speakers I've been working on rather horrible as monitors. As a result the guitar sounded too quiet on pretty much any pair of speakers. Should have listened to the track on different speakers before publishing. Actually, should have used more linear speakers to begin with. Goes to show you...
